So this weekend marked one of our good friends birthdays and been the awesome nerd he is, it managed to turn out to be an awesome 90’s era cartoon inspired dress-up party.
The result of K-mart, Target, and Myer been sold out of teenage mutant ninja turtles costumes ended in Super Girl or Woman, Clark Kent, Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, and plenty of others, which of course, were no match for Carlton’s want and need to be Link as he battles the many endeavours Gandalf had set in place for him over Hyrule in order to rescue his poor woman Zelda…

After getting moved along by a slightly nice security guard over at bond, we rode into their streets and mashed around varsity lakes. It was a super nice late night cruise followed by some ruckus in a park around the lake, with good times soon following, Sam became a daredevil with several chins, Andy became the whitest man alive (mainly due to my flash), Jono managed to open up his knee… AGAIN!, and Bennett well he was the only sane one…

A bottom bracket, two tires, and three tubes later, I finally had the chance to go for more than one ride in a row with my boys Andy, Bennett, Jono, and Sam, here are the outcomes from mashing around Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
It was a pretty decent few days minus the replacement of bits and pieces on the old Soma but it’s running nice and smooth now, and hopefully nothing else will happen to it for quite some time. Starting in Brisbane we got all scenic on river, and ended up at King George Square where we got all sentimental and Andy got a little bar spin happy or should I say insane before we rode out to Paddington, to throw our bikes in the car and head down the coast to continue on…
